Calling All Cars – planes, trains, automobiles, AC/DC and Grinspoon

CALLING ALL CARS have spent the past six weeks in rock&roll nirvana – supporting Australia’s greatest rock band AC/DC, traversing the country in and out of planes, trains and automobiles (well Taragos..), spa baths, saunas and massage rooms. That’s Adam in the picture soaking up the atmosphere under Hells Bells!

Over that time they’ve played in front of hundreds of thousands of people and they’re now about to turn the spotlight onto themselves with the release of their debut album Hold, Hold, Fire on Friday March 12.

The album features past radio favourites ‘Animal’, ‘Not Like Anybody’, ‘Hold, Hold, Fire’ and the current single “Disconnect which is all over triple j!

Calling All Cars will be stopping off in hometown Melbourne for a short, well needed break and quick shot of oxygen before getting Full Story >>

More Shiny Brights love!

The ever enthusiastic  Shiny Brights have added two new Melbourne shows to their Too Many Chiefs EP launch tour, which kicks off next week!! Good news for me, I was going to miss out because I’ve promised mother my weekends while she’s in town but now they have a Thursday night gig in my ‘hood. Swoit! Head to our GIGS page for all tour dates.

Isn’t this photo the best? Not only is there a river, a bridge, a boat, a giant tree, a chief and the makings of many old and wise sayings; it’s also a giant exercise in trust! Would you seriously let your friends dangle you off a bridge? Well, I’d let the Shiny crew dangle me off a bridge, though Matt isn’t the best at catching so I’d probably want Stav spotting me in the boat and Matt lowering me off the bridge.
