Byron Bay based roots-rock powerhouse Dallas Frasca released her debut album Not For Love Or Money on Friday 28 August and is jumping behind the wheel to take it to the streets of Australia across a two month 19 date roadshow that will take in capital cities as well as a number of regional areas.

Brace yourself folks, it’s finally here….a new show, the new album & the new band!

Not For Love Or Money introduces a heavier, more rock flavoured sound and the album tour will showcase Dallas with a full band in tow for the first time. Accompanying Dallas on guitar and stomp-box will be long time cohort Jeff “Moon Boy” Curran on slide guitar along with drummer Brendan Lees and the outrageously hot, Natalie Carey on backing vocals.

After kick starting the tour at Joe’s Waterhole on The Sunshine Coast, Dallas will continue the party through Queensland on The Gold Coast on Friday 28 August at The Sound Lounge before hitting the bright lights of Brisbane on Saturday 29 August at The Globe.

The band roll into NSW on Friday September 4 at new Sydney venue Notes in Newtown and Saturday 5 September at The Northern Star in Newcastle.

Not For Love Or Money features an all-star cast of guests including Melbourne luminaries Liz Stringer and Jess McAvoy playing alongside Dallas and long time guitarist Jeff Curran. It was produced by Forrester Savell (who has worked with Helmet, Karnivool and Cog) at Sing Sing studios in Melbourne.

In 2006 Dallas won triple j’s “Light Your Fuse” competition. With constant touring and the support of a massive online fan base she has since played the Falls, Bluesfest, Pyramid, Festival of the Sun, Queenscliff and Southbound music festivals and recently returned from France where she played the massive European festival Blues Passion Cognac with blues legend BB King.
