It’s been a tough year for The Basics. The Melbourne trio have been touring constantly and performing live shows while also recording their highly anticipated album, ‘Keep Your Friends Close’.
‘Keep Your Friends Close’ was released in Australia on September 25 and in Ireland on October 30. The albums break-through single ‘With This Ship’ has received great reviews around the nation and was added to triple j along with the current single ‘The No. 1 Cause of Death Amongst Youth Today’.
The album was written in outback Australia and shows just how much The Basics have evolved in the world of music.
And what better way to celebrate than by going on the road for their national tour in November. But before the tour the The Basics will be making a few stop-overs to the UK, Ireland and Norway to perform for their overseas fans.
