Foo Fighting at the Big Day Out has barely caused a dent in the stamina stakes for CALLING ALL CARS, who have pulled their socks up for 12 stops on THE ‘DELIRIUM’ TOUR. Joining them on their mission are Shiny brothers STRANGERS and ARTS MARTIAL who will be kicking shit and talking trash in the tour bus of mayhem as it makes its way across the core of Australia, before transforming into a hover glider and getting over to Tasmania for one last victory dance with a dead man.

CALLING ALL CARS added Ultimate Fighting Champions to their list of credentials after Big Day Out, when vocalist HAYDN ING immersed himself into the sea of fans, only to be knocked out cold at the Sydney event. There is some fairly gnarly footage floating around in cyberspace, though we will advise that seeing a pretty pair of bright blues being clobbered with an elbow is a heartbreaking sight, so proceed with care! Coincidentally, CALLING ALL CARS also completed a string of supports for the FOO FIGHTERS on their Australian tour, but fear not, they wont be trading their instruments for boxing gloves just yet! In a ROCKY BALBOA style victory lap, CALLING ALL CARS will be venturing on their first headliner tour since their album release as means to touch base and say thank you to their fans, so keep your fists clenched because there will be opportunities for fist pumping coming up shortly!

What do you get the band that has everything for Christmas? A band that in the past has supported bands like AC/DC and Queens Of The Stone Age. A band whose second album Dancing With A Dead Man was a triple j feature album in 2011. A band whose list of achievements is starting to resemble a Christmas wish list of every starry-eyed young indie band in the country.

What more can you stuff into their sack, I hear you ask? How about the BIGGEST music festival in the country? That’s right, Melbourne rockers Calling All Cars have been added to the East Coast legs of the Big Day Out, joining the likes of Soundgarden, Kasabian and My Chemical Romance on this mammoth music tour.

But wait, there’s more! The CAC camp have even more reason to celebrate this festive season as they’ve been invited to support rock and roll royalty Foo Fighters on their upcoming Australian tour. Proving once again why they’re the support band of choice when it comes to the biggest names in rock, Calling All Cars will open the proceedings in Perth and Adelaide.

“Dancing With A Dead Man” was released last Friday 5 August; their national album launch tour starts this Thursday 11 August in sunny Traralgon; they were front cover stars for local Adelaide street press dB last week; front and centre for hometown rag Inpress; and repeat the script this week in Perth when they will grace the front cover of The Wire.
