After shaking the dust off their quiffs at the tail end of a particularly big 2009 that culminated in the release of their second long player, Memory Walls, THE MODEL SCHOOL will screen the world wide premier of the new film clip for their latest single ‘Its Hard to Dance When Your Legs Are on Fire’ when they play their first show for 2010 at The Annandale Hotel in Sydney on Friday January 8.

A fully animated homage to the iconic arcade games of the 1980′s, it’s a trip down memory lane with big props to the video games of yesteryear! Immerse yourself in Super Model School World and watch Brendan battle the forces of E.V.I.L that have kidnapped his band mates and threaten to destroy fun and good times!

Memory Walls is an album of dream-like creations and distorted reality and The Model School has had to climb musical mountains to get to where they are.

The launch tour will head through Brisbane and Melbourne before hitting The Model Schools’ hometown, Sydney.

This is your chance to sing along with tracks including ‘It’s Hard To Dance When Your Legs Are On Fire’ and ‘We’re All Gonna Die’.

Memory Walls was produced by Scott Horscroft, who has worked with Sleepy Jackson, and will be released October 23 through Packaged Light, Model School’s own label, and distributed nationally by Shock.

You could say we’re all gonna die… but one thing’s for sure, we’re gonna have a lot of fun in the process.
