The Amity boys are absolutely dominating at the moment, they sold out their over 18 shows at Fowlers Live in Adelaide and the Hi-Fi in Melbourne last weekend, and tickets to their 18+ Brisbane show are increasingly scarce – so if you want to go I’d recommend purchasing tickets in the next hour before they’re all snapped up. Tickets to the Perth shows are still available, but be sure to get in early, with beloved local punk and hardcore act Break Even warming the stage for all WA shows, the shows will definitely sell out!

To further fuel the Amity fire, the band’s latest single Anchors, has been added to Triple J’s playlist – and it got an absolute flogging last night on Home and Hosed and Short Fast Loud.

The AA also graced the front cover of national hard rock and punk bible Blunt magazine, as well as being cover stars for Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and hometown Brisbane street presses this month.

Two weeks ago we announced the main course for The Amity Affliction Youngbloods album tour…this week it’s dessert time!

Disappointed that the original schedule didn’t include Western Australia, Amity have not only slotted in four shows for WA (including two all ages events), but also added another two more all ages gigs for their home-state Queensland! Amity’s Youngbloods Album Tour is now truly national and totals 15 shows, including nine All Ages, and one Under 18’s only…all in 23 days!

With The Amity Affliction’s new album Youngbloods due for release in less than four weeks (18 June), the first single, ‘I Hate Hartley’ is now available for download….steal it free and legally (and still respect yourself in the morning) but before then prepare yourself for the first brutal taste from Youngbloods, featuring gang vocals from Boston band Four Year Strong, ‘I Hate Hartley’ is the album’s opening track.

Pre-Orders for both the Youngbloods album and launch tour are on sale now, and moving fast from the band’s website – www.theamityaffliction.com – while you’re there you can also catch episode seven in the adventures of Amity does America (now up to the exciting bit!).

Strap yourselves in kids ’cause The Amity Affliction are all set to embark on a large scale national tour in July to launch their new album Youngbloods, and it’s gonna be a wild ride!

The Youngbloods Tour will incorporate a series of shows that remain true to The Amity Affliction’s punk rock ethos and will be a mix of all age, under 18 and over 18 shows through capital cities and select major regionals.

Want more? This ain’t no ordinary tour! To help them party hard The Amity Affliction has roped in a United Nations of Punk and Hardcore bands to help and will be ably supported at all shows by Misery Signals (USA), popular Melbourne moshlords Confession, and Flood of Red (UK).

The tour will be Misery Signals first Australian tour since their sold out headline run in 2009 (when they were supported by The Amity Affliction), and will be Flood of Red’s first ever Australian run (which coincides with the June release of their debut album Leaving Everything Behind on Boomtown Records.

Look out for a new album from these Brisbane hardcore heroes sometime later in the year.

For now just be saddened by the fact that we won’t be seeing them play live for a while as they’ve gone off to find the deepest, darkest recording studio known to humankind.

You have been warned!
