Hold, Hold, On… CAC finally announce their tour

It has finally happened… local Melbourne lads, Calling All Cars, have announced at long last the launch of their “Hold, Hold, Fire” tour.

Although the album was released in March the boys have been touring relentlessly, supporting the likes of Cog, Grinspoon, The Butterfly Effect, and a little known Australian rock band that go by the name of AC/DC, and have only just had a spare moment to squeeze in some headline shows of their own.

The excitement begins early September, with the 3-piece set to rock Bunbury in WA, before committing to a gruelling schedule that will see Calling All Cars deliver their fast-paced rock extravaganza to 14 other venues, both in capital cities and rural areas, in the short space of a month. They will be joined be Brisbane high energy rockers Numbers Radio and Perth upstarts Young Revelry.

If you can’t wait til September to see CAC in all their glory check out the Butterfly Effect support dates here.

As if the tour wasn’t exciting enough, the boys are also celebrating the addition of “Runaway” to Triple J rotation, their fifth single from Hold, Hold Fire – a feat rarely achieved by even the biggest international bands. Congrats CAC!

Holy Folk it’s Matt Corby!!

It’s Australia, not London calling; Matt Corby has recently arrived home and is rested up and ready for the launch of his latest single “My False”. The first show begins tonight, July 1, at Raval in Surry Hills- which we’re excited to announce is well and truly sold out! Don’t kick yourself too hard if you missed out on tickets, because of the high demand he has squeezed in one more show at Raval – this Sunday the 4 of July – but be sure to get in quickly because this one is predicted to sell like hot cakes too.

If you’re Melbourne based, make sure you pre-book your ticket for Matty’s gig at the Toff in Town because tickets for that show are in high demand… if you miss out you will have to kick yourself (or prepare be prepared to road trip it to Bacchus Marsh) because this is his only Melbourne show.

Don’t forget Matt will also be the super Shiny support act for international heavy-weights (and close friends) Mumford and Sons when they play their Sydney shows at the Enmore Theatre as part of the Splendour in the Grass side shows.
