Pavement – another show sells out!

Greetings and salutations happy concrete munchers! The Pavement reunion tour is fast approaching and our excited squeals are getting higher and higher every day. …Okay, admittedly it’s just me who squeals. The rest of the office don’t show their excitement at a frequency only audible to dogs.

News is: Pavement’s first Sydney show at The Enmore on Thursday 4th March are completely sold out. Good news is: tickets are still available to their second show at The Enmore on Friday 5th March but they’re selling like hotcakes (i don’t actually know what hotcakes are – grew up on Viet food) so you better get in quickly!! The Shiny Brights – Shiny New EP & Tour

You have to love Adelaide lads The Shiny Brights. They have “Shiny” in their name, wear impressive headgear relevant to their new release and, of course, they share our good indie spirit!

The Shiny Bright’s new EP Too Many Chiefs will be out on February 26th and the guys are heading on an East Coast tour early March to show off their new tunes, and hopefully they’ll all be dressed as chiefs for the gigs.

Calling All Cars – Winners Are Grinners

williamgun420-420x0Talk about epic.

2009 was a HUGE year for Calling All Cars – the lads from Melbourne saw themselves supporting Aussie heavyweights Cog and The Butterfly Effect nationally, their two first singles were added to high rotation on triple j, they zipped across the Tasman to support Greenday in New Zealand and as an early Christmas present, Calling All Cars were bestowed with the greatest honour any Australian band could wish for; supporting AC/DC nationally! \m/ Full Story >>

2010: The Year Of British India

British India - Beneath The Satellites single cover

Jupiter expands whatever he touches. In the New Year he’s already expanded my waistline or maybe that was the holiday feasting.

In 2010 Jupiter will oversee the release of British India’s new album entitled Avalanche on April 16th. From the tunes us lucky Shiny folk have heard Avalanche will be astronomical!!!

The first single ‘Beneath The Satellites’ will drop on iTunes on February 12th and the boys are celebrating with select single launches in March. Check out the newly announced gigs here.

The stars are on British India’s side, you should be too.
